It's Not a Coincidence...It's God!!!

For some reason, I've always been into names and their meaning. I am the kind of person that needs to find meaning to everything. I like to find a connection and make everything symbolic to me. That's why I am so excited to now have a baby because the holidays will take on an even better meaning to us as we start traditions and make them special! When I was single, I dreamed of having a beautiful family! So names were definitely on my mind;D Karina is a name I liked ever since I met a girl names Karina when I was around 13 at a church group we used to go to. When I looked up it's meaning...I was hooked! When my husband and I were getting to know each other we both expressed our desire to have children. While engaged we mention making a list of names. Karina was #1 on our list!
I knew that someday I would be blessed with my baby Karina! My husband lost his precious sister back in 1999. I love watching him sit back and remember a time spent with her. Like any guy, he doesn't do this often but when he does..it's music to my ears! I love learning of her because even though she's in Heaven...she's still my beautiful sis-in-law! One day...I'll to hug her in person! We also wanted middle names for our children and Karina's middle name was going to be either Sarai or Sofia. When we got pregnant my husband looked at me one day and said...I miss my sister so much and I would love for our daughter to have her name so we can always remember my sister and as an honor! I could see in his eyes how much this meant to him and was totally for it! So Karina Rocio it is!!!

Like I mentioned earlier...I am BIG on the meaning of names so of course I had to see what Karina Rocio meant....and it's....ready...

PURE HEAVENLY DEWDROPS<3

How pretty is that huh? God is in all the details! Today though I made an amazing discovery. You see....when we were trying, I noticed that my sister-in-law referred to her children as arrows. I then wondered what I would called my kids but I knew that it had to be a name given to me by God. Well, not too long ago God faithfully revealed it to me. They would be my TREASURES!!! I loved it and called them my treasure! Well today while watching a video on youtube that we've dedicated to Karina Rocio..something told me to look up a video on dewdrops and I find this.....

Jewelry from Heaven?!?!?!?! What's inside a treasure????? Isn't it usually jewels???? WOW I am still in awe. I never knew they reffered to dewdrops as Heaven's jewelry. This was truly meant to be...our pregnancy, the names, the meanings, our beautiful Karina Rocio....our TREASURE!!! She is our Heavenly jewel! Oh and to top it off...my husband's special name for me is preciosa (precious) and mi joya preciosa (my precious jewel) WOW! I am simply amazed. God is in ALL the details...don't ever doubt that for one second. It's not a coincidence it's God!!!!

Love how things all "come together". You have a beautiful family!!!

I do the same thing with names and dates.

My son is named in honor of my brother who passed as a toddler and after my husbands uncle.

It turnes out that, without our planning, my daughter's middle initial (J)and my son's middle initial(T) are what my baby brothers initials were (J.T)
